Grounds Staff & Digger/Dumper Driver
Location: Palmerstown Cemetery/Newlands Cemetery (possibly other work at Dardistown, or Glasnevin Cemetery as required)
Hours: 39 hours per week + overtime
Reporting to: Cemetery Manager
Overview:
Dublin Cemeteries Trust seeks full-time Grounds Staff & Digger/Dumper Driver to work with the Grounds team to ensure that the cemetery is maintained to an excellent standard. This is a customer facing role whose key objective is to ensure the highest standards of support is offered to each family on site.Ideal candidates will possess the following:
• Leaving certificate
• Experience in a similar role
• Full, clean driving licence
• Relevant Digger licence
• C1 License
• Good communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills with an ability to work as part of team
• A strong sense of customer care and an ability to deal sensitively with customers, including the bereaved
• A drive to learn and develop within the role
• Competence use of computer systems, including Excel and Word skills
• Reliable, good timekeeping and attendance
• Safe Pass Training
• Manual Handling Training
Full training will be provided for the successful candidates.
